random blog number 3

So I made a blog post a few months back and no one else had so I got really self-conscious and I have not posted another random post again. (Except for some photos here and there) I spent my entire weekend in the dog park this last weekend and actually finished my final project early. It was really fun and really tedious at the same time- editing hours of interviews about people and their dogs, but I had fun with it and really like what I came up with! It’s so amazing watching the dogs in the park, they have so much just bounding about not letting anything get them down! I’ve been following a puggle named Bella for a few weeks, it’s only 3 months old and probably one of the cutest dogs I’ve ever seen. Today a giant dog jumped on top of it to play, I was so worried for it and almost stepped in, but then I saw Bella just jump up and try to take on this giant dog. It was such a great attitude to just see this little dog play with the big ones completely unintimidated. I realized how there are so many lessons we can learn on life from dogs- they don’t judge each other, they don’t dwell on the past, all they focus on is the next thrill, whether that be a rawhide bone, a run in the park or a belly rub, they are happy with whatever they get! As I was talking to Bella’s owner a malti/bichon mix jumped on my lap and I was playing with her, since I have a Bichon at home in LA I looked around to find her owner- I saw a gorgeous woman sitting in the corner who called out to the dog- “Gracie, get off of her!” and the dog on my lap just wagged its tail and stayed there. I told the owner I didn’t mind and that I had a Bichon at home in LA and I didn’t mind at all. She said she spent a lot of time in LA because she was an actress, I wasn’t paying any attention to the owner because I was playing with her dog and we ended up talking though for 15 minutes about LA, NY and Bichons! Later as I was leaving I looked up and focused on the woman I had been talking to and realized it was Parker Posey! I was so excited but tried to act cool and just say good bye, but inside I was bursting- pretty cool WSP experience!

I once saw her on 2nd Avenue, classily dressed with a gentleman at her arm. I totally get your excitement - Parker Posey is fucking flawless!
