Edward Hopper/ moment before and moment after

When I walked in to class a bit late, Chris and Kristen had already begun their presentation. It took me a while to figure out what was going on, but after they had finished, I fell in love with Hopper. Their theatrical presentation made the class feel as if we were in the time period. I felt the mood of the paintings and it astonishes me to recognize his paintings in movies that I have seen. It inspired me. I liked hearing about the moment before and moment after. The assignment we had opened my mind to new ideas and new interpretations to everything around me. I am sitting in a cafe right now squished next to a couple men who I believe are from Chile, and I sitting here wondering what they are speaking about. I can not follow along, but I can create the story in my head.
