This course is an exploration of the cultural, literal & mythic space that is New York City's Washington Square,
Students will reflect upon the past, present and future of this remarkable space -- anchored by Stanford White's iconic Washington Arch -- and engage in the act creating their own cultural histories of “Life on the Square.”
